And we’re off!

2 April 2018

Visas sorted and passports returned, so after a MASSIVE breakfast of bacon butties, eggs, hash browns, laughter and a few tears we are finally ready to go.  A huge thanks for Dina and Trent for putting up with us for the past 2 weeks when we were officially homeless, to Katie and Jo for forming the rest of the waving off committee, as well as all the lovely messages of support that we have had over the last couple of days.   We are sad, excited, nervous and so much more…but definitely ready for this incredible adventure that we are about to embark on.

Wet gear on and ready to brave the elements!

In our final packing up yesterday I realised that I have packed the same amount of pairs of gloves packed as pairs of pants – so I am either over-stocked in one or under-stocked in the other.  I guess time will tell – I will keep you all updated on that 🙂

Watch out Chelmsford, Essex and the Lee family…we’re on our way!!

I’m sure there is a pinterest out there somewhere that will show you how to turn a pair of gloves into a pair of pants (or visa versa) if things become desperate. Best of luck to the pair of you – look forward to reading the updates
